WHAT HAPPENED?
The Reds are closing in on appointing Feyenoord manager Slot as their new head coach as they look to replace outgoing Jurgen Klopp ahead of the 2024/25 season. The club have reportedly started negotiating contract terms with the manager's agent Rafaela Pimenta as the Dutchman is keen on moving to the Premier League in the next campaign.

However, ahead of the 45-year-old's move to Anfield, former Liverpool star Ryan Babel has warned his compatriot as he claimed a mass exodus is set to occur at the club following Klopp's departure in the summer.

Speaking to (via ), Babel said, "Apart from Klopp, I understand that at least 40 more people within the club are leaving. From kitchen people to staff and analysts. A trainer who comes has to replace that, and that doesn’t seem easy to me."
